Job: Finance Business Partner

Your role will be to support the Business Controller on finance business partnership to the UK&I Operations, IT and Transformation teams and drive continued operational excellence, investment tracking and appraisal. Responsibilities will include providing high quality financial and commercial information, analysis and interpretation to senior management teams, to underpin effective decision making and meaningful performance management. The role will play a pivotal part in working with group colleagues to understand investment cases and ensuring these are translated into meaningful, realistic budgets.
Provide class leading financial business partnership to Operations, IT and Transformation teams, including forecasting and budgeting responsibilities
Navigate Senior leaders to develop/deliver KPIs critical to future success. Support and develop effective methods to drive operational insight and understanding across the business
Own the development and delivery of effective investment/transformation models
Proactively engage with the business at the earliest opportunity to develop and implement appropriate recovery plans to mitigate financial risk
Robust and detailed interpretation of financial analysis to enable business areas to make key decisions and achieve targets.
Embrace and leverage new systems and ways of working to drive increased insight, efficiency and automation
Qualified UK recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
Awareness and understanding of accounting principles and legislation
Ability to work with senior management and to challenge where appropriate
Business partnering – enable the business to make better financial decisions through insight and analysis
Adaptable, open to change, actively seeks better ways of working
