Job: Commercial Finance Analyst

Job Type:  Permanent, 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Reading

As one of the leading HR and Payroll providers in the industry, SD Worx are recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst. You will support the business controller on finance business partnership to the UK Customer, Synergy management and Global solutions teams and drive continued sustainable growth from existing revenue streams. Your responsibilities will include providing high quality financial and commercial information, analysis and interpretation to senior management teams, to underpin effective decision making and meaningful performance management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide gold standard financial business partnership to head of Customer, Synergy and International teams, including forecasting and budgeting responsibilities
  • Navigate Senior leaders to deliver KPIs critical to future success
  • Support and develop effective methods to drive Revenue insight and understanding across the business 
  • Support development of effective pricing models and appropriate delegation of authority for Account directors to use and deliver the customer strategy 
  • Support Synergy and Customer teams through consulting on major re-signs/Change controls
  • Manage customer revenue portfolio reporting, risk profiling and key insight to senior leadership team in UK and Global solutions
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of International revenue to Global solutions team

Essential Requirements:

  • Part-Qualified UK recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Awareness and understanding of accounting principles and legislation.
  • Ability to work with senior management and to challenge where appropriate
  • Commercial awareness and insight
  • Business partnership skills
  • Effective communicator
